Welcome Aboard Bluebird!
We’re Kitty and Hervey Evans—two adventure-seekers (with a love for strong coffee, chart plotting, and unexpected detours) setting sail on the Great Loop aboard our 44-foot trawler, Bluebird. Along for the ride? Our four-legged crew: Duke the ever-vigilant boat dog and Milo, aka Mr. Pretty, the only cat who thinks he owns the helm.

Whether you’re a fellow Looper, a dreamer, or just curious what happens when you put two humans, a dog, and a cat on a floating home for 6,000 miles, we’re glad you’re here. This site is where we’ll share our highs, lows, sunsets, engine trouble, and all the magic in between.
